How We Started

Travel & Express was established in 1999 following the merger of some of the largest intercity taxi companies on the island, including Taxi Kyriacos, Taxi Karydas, Taxi Makris, Taxi Acropolis and Taxi Kypros. Through this strategic unification, the Travel & Express Intercity Taxi Service quickly became one of the most trusted passenger transport providers in Cyprus.

Today, our intercity service transfers more than 250,000 passengers annually, operating frequent direct and indirect routes that connect all major cities across the island.

Building on the efficiency of our scheduled routes and our reliable door-to-door passenger service, a new subsidiary was created: PANGYPRIA ETAIREIA METAFORON DEMATON LTD (Travel & Express Courier). Within just a few years, our courier division secured a strong position in the Cypriot market, thanks to its consistency, reliability and customer-focused service.

Our courier network now includes 12 service centers across Cyprus, offering customers the ability to send or receive envelopes, parcels, and even large or unconventional items such as motorcycles, air-conditioning units, accessories and more.

To ensure fast and reliable delivery, our fleet consists of corporate mini-trucks, motorcycles, and small vehicles, all fully equipped to handle daily collections and deliveries either directly to customers or between our stores nationwide.
